“ I stopped for take out and the chicken pho was delicious! The broth was full of flavor and the included lots of vegetables. It was enough for two meals. I'll definitively go again! ”
“ The best I've found in The LBC. So flavorful! I like the 21, chicken Pho'. Chicken is tender and juicy. Great service too. ”
“ Server was super nice & food was delicious!! Both plates had SOOO much flavor, exceeded my expectations. Very cozy vibes inside. Definitely will be back. ”
“ My husband and I were in the Long Beach area for an appointment and needed a quick bite. We found Pho 881 on Yelp. It's in a strip mall with decent parking. The restaurant is rather basic and traditional looking, but seems clean and spacious. It's a mom and pop restaurant with the owner and another helper serving and the lady in the kitchen. She came out occasionally when not busy. Since we arrived a little before 11am, it was not busy yet, We ordered a two piece Egg Rolls, a large Special Combo Pho with two extra meatballs, and a regular Hainan Chicken with Fried Jasmine Rice. Portions were really generous and we took home about half the chicken and most of the Fried Rice! Egg Rolls were really delicious. The Pho broth was very tasty and didn't make me thirsty (so not much MSG). There was a good variety of meats in the bowl, I especially liked the tendon. The Fried Rice that came with the Hainan Chicken was very good. The chicken was average. The menu said that it was supposed to come with a small salad and the chicken was supposed to be dark meat. In reality the chicken was a combo white and dark meat, and we didn't get a salad. I'm sure they would have brought it if we asked, but we didn't because there was already too much food for the two of us. Overall, it was a very good and quick meal. All the food came out within ten minutes. The owner was really friendly and nice. Prices were very reasonable and portions were very generous. They do charge 2% for credit card use. ”
“ My cousin and I were in the area and decided to get some pho. This is our first time here and it was DELICIOUS. I could drink the broth alone. I've tried other places, but this was the best pho I've ever had. We got the special combo in the regular and large size. The meat is very tender. You will definitely have leftovers for sure. I also had their Vietnamese coffee and it was so good. My cousin had the orange juice and loved it as well. The staff is so sweet and nice. They greet everyone who comes through the door and just overall great customer service. One of the workers was also so sweet and packed up our pho and spring rolls. This was the sweetest gesture and he did this because he didn't want us to dirty ourselves, which again is so sweet! We're not from the area but we both agreed that we're coming again! ”
“ Food: broth was delicious!!! Service: friendly and attentive. Ambiance: you're in the ghetto, so it was just simple. ”
“ So I was craving some pho when I was under the weather a couple months ago and found out this place accepted EBT! As a single mom, that was amazing news! So I checked it out! (Drove by many times and never knew!) They are such nice and kind people! The food is awesome! Big portions! So come hungry or split with someone. I always get the combo pho because it has all the meats. Then I added the beef balls today. I need protein since I worked out. Definitely try the spring rolls and egg rolls! Mmmm! So yummy! Kids love it too! My son and his buddy came with me one time and they ate it all! I like ordering a side of onions and drizzling it with sriracha and the hoisin sauce! Like a Vietnamese version of kimchi, I guess! Enjoy! Thank you for being such a great spot and great service always! ”
“ This place is a good place for a hearty vietnamese meal! We tried the Shaking Beef and the Combination Pho. The Shaking Beef was so delicious when it came out, I was really surprised. It comes with a broth as well, which was absolutely delicious and rich. However, a few hours later, I was so thirsty, and I suspect that they use MSG to flavor their foods. I have nothing against MSG, but just so you are aware. The Combination Pho was really good as well, and had a good selection of types of meat, which were all tender. Service was fine. The staff weren't good with english, so it took some time ordering and asking questions. I know they try their very best to provide the best service! Ambiance is pretty lowkey and hole-in-the-wall, which is fine! ”
